Talked to Scott about what happened and showed him
what I was able to pull out of the printer. They
will be purchasing a replacement.

The entire page of labels got sucked into the ink
waste tray area which ruined the printer. The ink
started dripping all over the bottom of the
machine, the sheet of labels burned part of the
machine, oil leaked everywhere and labels were
stuck all over inside the machine. The printer
cannot be used at all anymore due to excessive
damage. Emailed Scott Killip to discuss the issue
as he was not in his office when I was in the
Cottage.

Talked to Cara, this new problem apparently started when
someone tried to send labels through the printer. Couldn't see
anything wrong, but attempting to print either results in a jam,
or the print quality is terrible. It looks like all of the pages are
covered in grease.

They are willing to wait for our printer expert to come back next
week. Printer is shut down for now.

Thank you! No need to call, it's in a public area
and they can just stop by. I'm leaving it 'jammed'
so they can see the issue.

Hi,

We are having issues with the network printer Wolf
again. It doesn't show any print jobs in the
queue, but jams by pulling a piece of paper
through as it warms up. I'm not sure, I'm assuming
it's trying to complete some sort of print job but
I can't access the job to cancel it or get it to
stop trying to pull paper resulting in continuous
jamming.

Thank you,
Cara

Hi,

We've been having a problem with Wolf (#20091189),
the color printer downstairs in the Cottage. It
did ok this morning but has started 'growling' at
us and printing horribly. Sounds funny, but it
seriously starts growling and then spits out
really bad print requiring us to run a clean
cycle. That works for a few copies, then it starts
again. Not sure if it's just that we were printing
on legal size paper through the bypass tray or ??...

For what it's worth, I successfully printed about
25 copies or so of regular size paper from the
paper tray before we tried the legal size. The
regular paper worked fine, the legal did not. We
sent that small job over to the print shop, but
now I'm concerned it's messed up again or needs
special attention to clean it up after it started
puking out really bad copy.

Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated :)

Thank you!!
Cara

Nothing is wrong with the printer, others can print to it fine. Appears that the document gets dropped in between the
computer and the printer.

Deleted all of the extra print drivers. Driver for the malfunctioning printer looks to be fine, but I attempted to delete and re-
add the printer. No luck, recieved an "Access is Denied" error message every time, even on ucsadmin. Stopped and restarted
the spooler, attempted to delete drivers, gpupdate, restart, still no luck.

Hi,

I can't send print jobs to the network Wolf
printer. It simply says "not responding" and shows
no print jobs. I've tried restarting both my
computer and the printer, same response. I don't
know how to re-install it or I'd uninstall and try
that too ;)

My computer is #20100757[Edit Inv] and Wolf is #20091189[Edit Inv]

Thank you!
