Natalie will be moving to ATLAS.ti 7 for Mac and 
will no longer need the Parallels program.  I 
forwarded Tricia her request to move from a 
Windows license of the software to a Mac license.  
A new service request will be made once we receive 
the software and licensing.  This SR will be 
closed.  I also informed Natalie that this request 
would be closed.

Hi Natalie,

I am not sure if you have had a chance to see the 
email I sent you early last week regarding 
Parallels on your laptop.  We are willing to work 
with you to reach a resolution to the issue you 
are seeing.  Please let me know if the below 
suggestion is something that will work for you.  
If not, we can always come up with a plan B.  

Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

Hi Natalie,

Parallels is a program that is installed in a 
specific user's profile.  Because of this, we need 
access to your account, but we cannot have access 
to your password (policy).  We do need to have you 
available at various periods pending restarts.  If 
you dont mind, we can always meet with you at 
first so you can give us access to the account 
that has Parallels installed (yours) and we can 
troubleshoot.  Should we need access to your 
account later, to finish anything up, we can 
either come find you or meet you a second time if 
this is more convenient for you.  Please let me 
know what would work best for you and we can get 
some of your availability once we decide on the 
best course of action for fixing the Windows side 
of your computer.

Hello Lori:

Yes, the issue still needs to be addressed--
however, I am not available to sit in my office 
while the problem is being resolved. It's a 
laptop, and I can easily leave the laptop in my 
office so it can be worked on while I'm teaching 
or in meetings, but I have been told in the past 
that I have to be here  in my office so it can be 
addressed, because I'd have to enter in my 
password after restarting the system.

So, I'm faced with the dilemma of either not 
getting the issue addressed because I don't have 
time to sit around and be available, or not 
utilizing my on campus time effectively by sitting 
around in my office while the issue is being 
addressed.

regarding the installation of Parallels on your 
MacBook Pro and have been attempting to get in 
contact with you to make sure your issue gets 
resolved.  Are you still needing assistance?  If 
so, please let me know your availability so we can 
get a technician out to you as soon as possible.  
You can also call the Service Request desk if that 
is more convenient for you at 88925 and the 
representative working the desk can update your 
ticket.  If your issue has been resolved, please 
let me or our help desk know and we can close out 
your open ticket.

Hello--

I won't be able to be in my office for more than
about 10 minutes in the morning so I won't be able
to be there for the appointment to diagnose the
parallels issue. I will call to reschedule when I
can find a time.

period has expired and that I need to buy parallels.
