Needed a restart of the program after the install.  
Other than that I switched the usb ports and it 
installed and worked.

Hello, no error, I think I am just doing something
wrong.  She had me download the software and when
it did not work she called Olympus ¿ they said the
foot pedal needed to be plugged in to get it done.
 When I went back down to uninstall and re-install
with the foot pedal plugged in, I could not find
the recent download.  I put the CD in again but it
came back with the same results (even with the
foot pedal plugged in).

 

I fear I am missing a step.

error when trying to download it?

Hi there,

 

Paula Baldwin (HSS 121) is currently using our
Humanities laptop for a research project.  As I am
an admin, I tried to download her dictation
software (for the foot pedal) for her Olympus
recorder but there seems to be a problem. 

 

Would you be able to assist?  If not I can try
calling Olympus.  She has a student worker coming
in at noon to use the software ¿ sorry for asking
on such short notice!
