Adam and I replace the part of the printer that
was order. After replacing the part the printer
and printing the configuration page we realize it
was pooling the default IP address. Changing the
IP address to the right IP made it print successfully.

Hi Phil,

I just wanted to touch base regarding the open 
service request ticket we have for the printer in 
114.  It looks as though your department needed to 
order a new Smart Kit Drum for the machine and I 
wanted to see if that has been ordered and 
replaced yet.  Can you give me any information 
regarding that ticket?  I just want to make sure 
that printer is up and running for your classes.

Phillip,

I had Xerox out today and we replaced some parts
in the printer such as the fuser and the problem
was still there. After doing some ore testing with
the 115 printer we figured out that there is a bad
print cartridge. I wasn't able to find you so I
spoke with Jean. The info that I left her was:
Smart Kit Drum Cartridge-Phaser 4620 Part #113R00762

Once this part is in and replaced the machine can
be used again.

Philip,

I came by and checked out the Xerox 4620 printer
in NS 114. It defiantly doesn't sound normal.. I
called Xerox and they should have a tech out
Monday. I will let you know if anything changes.

The new printer (~$1600.00) is making a terrible
LOUD noise. Please ASAP come over and address its
issues. This printer is in daily use especially as
we near the end of the term.
