If we migrate the Sql server, we need to make sure
the sql server versions are compatible with the
radio software.

Computer is running 32 bit version of XP, adding more RAM was
pointless, currently only recognizes 3 gb. Both memory and cpu
usage are very low

Took about 10 minutes for it to start up, and it is a small step
above completely non functional when windows is loaded. Nearly
every program that was opened crashed immediately.

Managed to do this, not entirely sure it helped:
CCleaner- General and Registry
chkdsk- nothing wrong
defrag- ran for about half an hour then froze

They are also having an issue with their laptop. The password
and/or server IP is incorrect and they cannot connect to the stream
on the kwou site, not sure where to find password or how to reset
it. Need to contact buchanar21@gmail.com if we figure that out.

Ran diagnostic, couldn't find anything wrong. Added more
memory, but that didn't seem to help either.

Computer is running xp, it hangs up on the "Windows is Starting"
screen and I could not get it to the point where I could log in.
Tried booting in to safe mode but had the same issue.

Going back over today at 3:30

Talked to Dave M: He suggested checking memory
usage, making sure it's not full (90%+).

Talked to Dale: Do NOT reimage the computer. It
has data tied to special software on the computer
that will be lost. Someone needs to figure out
how to export and import that data before we
upgrade OS or get a new computer.

****This is an email****
Good morning UCS:

We have a pretty urgent need here for the KWOU
computer.

The WOU numbers are 20090891[Edit Inv] and 20090893[Edit Inv].

Station Manager Ryne Buchanan said the computer is
too slow to do anything, including play music. The
system freezes. It will run Spacial Audio Music
(SAM), but doesn't play anything.

He called David McEvilly a little while ago and
left a voice mail message. He said the laptop is
only good for talk shows. That equipment of course
is separate from the main machine. Ryne can't
recall what Dave did to get the laptop to stream
music to the website.

Ryne can be reached at (503) 350-1250.

We are also looking at some replacement options
for next year for the big main system.

As always, thanks for your time and help.
