I was able to get hold of the Sarah. With series
of troubleshooting done on her system I realized
the problem was faulty power supply. I spoke with
Lori regarding this task and she refer me to
Tricia to ask if the user was legible for GFA
computer. Fortunately she was legible and I was
give a new machine to setup for the user. I
re-image the system and took the machine to the
user.

NEW EQUIP SETUP: (GFA) A Dell computer and monitor need to be 
setup and delivered to Sarah Cain in MA 204. 
The WOU # of the new computer is 20130723[Edit Inv] and the new monitor 
is 20130763[Edit Inv]. 
The WOU # of the old computer is 20091347[Edit Inv] and the old monitor is 
UNKNOWN. **Please record what the WOU# is of the old station**
The new equipment is on the GFA shelf in the hallway.

I check the system and tried doing doing window
system repair but it couldn't solve the problem. I
had the similar machine in our lab.I removed the
hard drive and connected it to the other computer
it works fine. With some research done online some
of the hint given was it could be problem with the
machine power supply.

Hi Help Desk,

I have a major problem with the desktop computer
in my office. About 20 minutes ago, it suddenly
shut down for no apparent reason and cannot
restart. I tried to restart the computer normally,
but this failed. I then ran the repair routine
that was suggested, but the popup message says
that the computer cannot be repaired. Luckily, I
have a second computer in my office for student
use, so I can complete my grading on that. The
laptop does not run ArcGIS very effectively,
however, so having the desktop down long-term is
somewhat problematic.

Thanks for any help with this! My office is in
