Updated Firefox from version 12 to version 30, 
updated flash and java, removed useless plugins.

Works much faster and better now - she's happy 
with it.

Computer is running really slow and she has tried
restarting but specifically, in her email.  She
tries to reply to an email, the typing is running
really slow.  It is delayed and takes her a long
time to reply.  She doesn't use much else on her
computer so this is the only thing she notices it in.
