W# 20100285[Edit Inv] was taken to Julie's office as a 
replacement.  This printer is not getting fixed.  
A replacement purchase will be made and given to 
Karen Nelles.

Julie,

 

I talked to the student tech that looked at your
printer, it looks like it is doing the same thing
Michael Mann¿s and Schuyler¿s printer was doing. 
I think it needs new print heads.  I called Jodie
and she is ordering some and once they get in we
can come down and install them.

I looked at the test pages and it looks like it
needs new print heads.  Jodie (8-8311) in Housing
has some on order and will contact us to install
when they get in.  I left Julie a message to let
her know the print heads were on order.

Went over to check on the printer(HP Printer Pro 
8000) at VAL 215 and ran a couple of diagnostic 
tests.
RESULT:
The Test Diagnostic page - wasn't successful.
The print-head alignment - wasn't successful.
Calibrated linefeed - Successful.
Clean print head - unsuccessful.
Ink-level low for Cyan and Yellow- those need to 
be replaced.Julie said they have made need request 
for inks.
I think the print-heads need to be changed.

They are having a bunch of issues with the
printer, some of them are paper feeding issues and
it also isn't printing solid ink on the page. 

She is available until 5 today, and she said that
her office is always available
