I just called him and he said everything is working fine and he 
moved all his stuff to H drive.

Please check in with Scott to see how everything 
is working for him.  If he hasn't noticed 
anything, close the ticket.

Please, also, let him know how important it is to 
save everything to a network drive instead of 
saving locally since we back up those network 
drives and are usually unable to recover locally 
saved data when a hard drive failure occurs.

Took the machine to ucs and start it up and everything was 
working fine. Talked to Lori and she said go ahead double 
check everything, if there is no isuues go ahead put back 
together to user room. Called professor scoott left him an 
voicemail. Told him every thing is working fine, there is not 
error about hard disk, he can login and move all his 
documents to H drive and also if he get any issues he can 
call us back. I m going to remain open this ticket till 
tomorrow in case the problem occurs again.

Went over there restart his computer and found no hard disk. He 
has a class till 12pm. I will bring the machine and run the 
diagnostics. If hard disk is not found pls let know lori because this 
machine is still under warranty.

Computer said the hard drive can't be found when
he turned on the computer.  There is a reboot
screen that comes up and he tries to do those but
it doesn't do anything.  He would like to be
notified if things or documents are going to be
lost.  Contact him before re-imaging or anything
like that.
