She can't get connected to any printers now. It is
asking for admin user to connect to any of them. 
She needs admin rights back to her computer and
printers added.

finished re image and brought the computer back to 
her office. gave it to the person at the desk in the 
copy room she said she would set it on her desk left 
email to let her know that i did that.

Hi Patricia,

I was looking into the problem with the hu-copier and saw that it 
is an error with the new updated drivers for that copier and your 
operating system. the newest update for the copier is running 
into errors with the version of OSX you have installed. speaking 
with my boss the conclusion we saw for the best outcome is 
taking and re imaging your computer to a newer version of OSX. 
to do that with we need to bring the computer back with us back 
to ucs to run through the imaging process. before i do that we 
would like for you to back up all the data saved directly to the 
computer onto your H drive or onto another back up solution of 
your choice. given that the computer is able to print and is 
working as of right now. we can do this when ever you have 
time. sorry about the trouble and hope you have a great day

The printers are actually downloaded fine, her
issue is more of a MAC ¿ printer communication
situation.  One of the techs was out last week for
Dr. Susan Daniel and the same situation.  When she
hits print it shows in the queue but just ¿holding¿.

The computer is wireless and the WOU number is:

Good morning,

 

Our professor, Dr. Patricia Giménez has a MAC
laptop and she is having difficulty printing to
our network printers.  My apologies as I do not
have her computer ID number handy.  I am hoping
that when someone stops by to check on this, they
can also help to connect her laptop to the monitor
in her office?  Thank you SO much!!

 

Her teaching schedule is: MTWR 9-10:50, TR 12-1:50
