Nick was able to install Finale and add him as an 
administrative user.  The laptop has been 
delivered.

Hi Lori, yes, you can proceed with Tom's 
install. Is there a specific registration 
(finale) code that I need to give you (like I 
do for Apple Logic)? If not, then install 
away!!

Emailed Kevin Walczyk to make sure he has 
assigned a Finale license to Thomas as Kevin is 
the distributor of some of those Finale 
licenses.

Thomas needs to be logged in to be given admin 
privileges

He needs admin rights back to his computer.  Also,
he can't figure out how to get the shortcuts he
saved, back on his computer.  He also needs Finale
on his computer.  Kevin Walczyk has the license
for this software that needs to go on the computer.

Mac has been reimaged and Mavericks has been 
installed.  All updates complete.  He has an 
exception in the NAC, so the agent is not 
installed on the laptop.  He is picking up the 
laptop around 4 today.

He emailed me a few times - his macbook is 
running well for now, so he doesn't want to 
reimage it.  He will let us know if it starts 
giving him problems again.  If he does, here is

Although you can technically install Yosemite 
on late 2007 machines, it is unlikely the 
hardware will operate well. He is running the 
minimum hardware requirements to use Yosemite - 
4GB Ram.  This is most likely why he is seeing 
glitching and why everything would be running 
slow.  Best thing would be to roll him back 
Operating Systems.

He said everything runs really slow and programs
are delayed and sometimes just won't open.  Things
are glitching and he can't get anything done.

Can you please ask him what specifically is not 
working?  I know his wireless connection will not 
work with Yosemite, but we need more information 
on this ticket.

He updated his Mac to Yosemite and nothing is
working now.  He is going to drop it off Friday
morning at the SRD for someone to take a look.
