Hi UCS,


Sorry to bug you all again - but the tech loaded
the S drive and that is only my public html drive
with web materials.  I've cross-checked with all
the other faculty and all our own materials are on
the H drive.  So - no idea why it's not appearing.
 But I still don't have anything.

Mapped H drive on the loaner computer for her.  
Original computer is now imaging

I tried to map the drive with her over the phone
and the H: wasn't even listed in the pull down
menu.  I have never had that happen before so I'm
not sure what the issue is.  She would like this
fixed or her original computer back ASAP.

Hi - I did just start the computer but there is
still no H drive.  I will be at class until 10 but
then I was hoping to get access to all my advising
notes - which are on the H drive - for advising
appointments.

11:25.  I teach noon through 2:30 and will be 
across the hall in 204.  You may interrupt 
during that time to get let into the office - 
or ask any biology faculty on this floor. I 
will have a note on my door and let folks know.

I am teaching a class with 4 day a week 
attendance and Clicker data to manage - that 
includes posting grade information every day of 
class and updating Moodle activities.  The 
minimum software I absolutely need every day is 
Turning Point, plus all of Office.  Can you 
make sure those are available on any sub 
computer?  

As for reimaging, I spent way too much time 
this spring trying to have all kinds of 
extra/paid Adobe products on this machine... it 
was a major mess.  I just want to make sure 
reimaging is going to easily restore all of 
these pieces of software.

My computer/internet just spent 10 minutes in what
seemed to be a multiple virus attack.  I was
unable to close multiple screens on the internet.
 I received multiple safety alerts about viruses
(including trojan) attacks and there was a
phishing alert screen.  I just wanted you to be
aware that I think there has been a big attack.

I would add that pretty much every time I open the
internet, I am getting odd pop-up boxes... the
sophos manager has opened several times indicating
ongoing threats.
