Please revisit with Heather.  In Word (and in 
any other Office product she uses with the 
exception of Outlook) click File > Options > 
Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > 
Protected View.  Please make sure each of the 
check boxes are unchecked.  If these are 
checked, any document she opens would have 
editing capabilities turned off by default.  
This same process needs to be completed 
individually for each Office product.

Met with Heather -
Sometimes Microsoft Office files will not open 
for her, or when they do, they will sometimes 
not be editable.  Everything was working when I 
was there, but I told her to let us know if the 
issue happens again.
In the meantime, I showed her how to save the 
read-only files so that she can edit them.  Ran 
updates.

Went over to Heather's office - she is very 
busy with payroll at the moment and she can't 
make her machine available.She has requested 
that we come look at the problem by next week.
