The laptop was looking for anything plugged 
into it itself before discovering peripherals 
plugged into the docking station.  It did take 
a couple minutes before device manager found 
any USB devices plugged into the docking 
station.  Once those devices had been 
discovered, they automatically installed.  
After everything loaded, I logged out and had 
another user log in and everything worked 
without having to wait.  I took the laptop off 
the dock and reseated and it worked right away.  
Had a third person login and it worked as well.  
She will call back if she experiences the 
issues again.

station as soon as it arrives.

Warranty was approved by Dell.  Should receive 
replacement today or tomorrow.

Submitted a request through Dell to warranty.  
Pending approval, we should receive the 
replacement within 24-48 hours.

The USB ports on the docking station are not
working.  Plugged the mouse and keyboard into the
laptop itself and she is able to use the dock that
way.

The docking station for her laptop is not 
working. Causing the laptop to freeze and require 
a hard restart.
