Made Kevin an administrative user on the 
machine and enabled his mobile profile.  
Connected H, I, P drives.  Added CA-Ellington 
printer.  Transferred locally saved files from 
old computer to new computer as well as his H 
drive just to make sure everything would be 
backed up.  Opened Finale and made sure it was 
registered.  Made sure he could login via wi-
fi.

Hi Kevin,

I have your laptop all ready to bring over to 
you to finish setup.  Finale is still installed 
for you, so all we would have to do is map your 
network drives and get you set up as an 
administrative user.  Please let me know when 
you're available and I will swing by your 
office to get you set up with everything.

OS corruption is causing issues.  Reformatting HD 
and reinstalling OS.  Will create a custom image.

Hi Kevin,

I have a new MacBook Air ready to bring over 
and set up for you.  Before I can set anything 
up, please transfer anything that you might 
have saved to the desktop, such as documents or 
other files, to a network location such as your 
H drive.  This will insure that we are able to 
transfer all of your data to the new machine.  
Once that has been complete, please let me know 
your availability and I will set up an 
appointment with you to set everything up.

Hi Kevin,

I am working on your new MacBook Air and was 
wanting to know what networked printers you 
will be needing loaded on the new laptop.  If 
you could provide me with their network names, 
I can get them loaded before bringing the 
computer over to you.

Also, if you have anything saved to the desktop 
of your current laptop, please transfer them to 
a network drive, such as your H drive. This 
will ensure that we get everything transferred 
from your current laptop to your new laptop.

I will let you know when I have your new laptop 
ready for delivery.

I asked Kevin if he wanted OS 10.9 Mavericks or OS
10.10 Yosemite and he did not have a preference.
If you load as Yosemite please change inventory
record to reflect that change.

Tricia, I do not have a preference between the two
operation systems. I guess I would say whatever is
"latest." And finale 2104 would be very welcome

I will give him a call to get more information 
on which part of the charger is failing.  The 
computer is no longer under warranty, so his 
department would have to approve a replacement.  
I will call AppleCare to get a quote for his 
department.

turn on and he can't get it to charge.
