looks like i was able to fix it the problem looked to be with his 
WiFi im going to contact him later this week to see how it is 
working and also show him how to connect to the school profile 
from how using remote desktop

Please hold off on the older two laptops for now 
as neither has a valid Win7 license.

Good afternoon,

       My name is Michael and I'm the new Advisor
for the Upward Bound program. I have a request for
servicing computers.

     We have 2 laptops (numbers 20080368[Edit Inv] and
20080369) that we would like to set up for
students to check out periodically. Both of them
used to be for staff members, and we aren't able
to log into them at all as they are. Even with
current passwords the laptops say that the
password isn't correct or that MASH is
unavailable. That being said, we want them to be
configured to where our students could use them
off of campus and still have the capability to log
into the computer itself without MASH and use wifi
wherever they take them. 

       My laptop in my office (20130570) is also
having similar issues, where un-docked I am able
to log into it only if it is on campus, but if I
bring it home I don't know how to log into the
computer itself without it giving the message of
"unable to connect to MASH". 

      Please call my office at 8-8061 to see if
I'm in the office before you get here, as I am
regularly out of the building and at the local
high schools. Thank you for your help!
