Went and the printer printed fine in a timely
manner.  Mr. Martins is on vacation, if the
problem persists when he returns Kathy will have
him call us.  If the problem continues the printer
more than likely just needs to be re-mapped.

Hello there,
I have had a complaint about the Greenspan printer
in West House 207 printing some items VERY slowly
from Michael Martin's computer (WOU# 20110937). 
Here is his description of the problem:

Regarding the issues I have with the printer
upstairs, the class schedules I printed out took
over an hour to print out. I submitted the job
around 8:20 or so. Checked about an hour later and
nothing had come out. I checked the control panel
for the printer and it showed no jobs pending and,
surprise, later as I was leaving for a final you
hand me printouts! It makes me wary of using the
printer for any 'eyes only'  items since there can
be big delays between sending the job and getting
the results. In the class schedule case I
highlighted the parts I wanted to printout and
then submitted the job. In other cases I have
tried to print pdf. files with about the same
delays. For simple jobs it seems to work OK. Any
complexity to the job (at least from my computer)
causes it to wait, wait and wait before printing.

I am hoping the problem can be replicated without
Michael here, so that we can get it fixed during
the break.
