She was getting an error message every time she
opened excel: There was a problem sending the
command to the program.  
Found this fix - 
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/211494.

Had her check by opening some files from her
Desktop and downloads from her email.  Works fine
now.

She called in this afternoon stating that she
couldn't open excel without saving the data to a
folder and opening it that way. She would like
someone to stop by to look at it, her office will
be open to stop by all day today and tomorrow.
