Closing this ticket - if the problem occurs 
again, whoever works on this could try more 
troubleshooting with RAM. 
Last time, I ran the Apple Hardware Test which 
found no issues, but everything I've seen 
online seems to support the idea that RAM is 
the issue here.

I just went to ITC 103 and the computer was 
off, but powered on normally.

This is obviously a recurring issue, so I will 
leave this open and try to investigate further.

According to http://support.apple.com/en-
us/HT202768:

3 successive tones, a 5 second pause 
(repeating): This indicates RAM does not pass a 
data integrity check.

I reseated the RAM (4x4gb) and restarted 
several times without any issues.

I can get the iMac to turn on, but when I restart, 
it does not turn back on and beeps three times 
repeatedly (as in SR 55759)
