I was able to get hold of Janeanne and check the
problem she was encountering. I did some update on
her browser but that didn't resolve the problem.

I was able to get hold of Janeanne but never had
sufficient time to troubleshoot the problem she
was encountering with IE. Promise to check with
her tomorrow.

I went over again. I couldn't get it to work some things I tried 
were:
Windows Updates
Internet explorer updates
Deactivating and reactivating IE
CCleaner

I did manage to get IE 11 fully installed, though that doesn't 
seem to have helped at all.

I went over but she wasn't there, lights off in her office and 
everything. The only other person in that area of the library said he 
had no idea where she was. I'll call in a while.

Talked with Tricia, she needs to contact 
Janeanne as she has several computers and some 
details to sort out before a GFA can go out.  
In the meantime, we will solve the explorer 
issues for now.

Hello, 
My WOU number is 20101426[Edit Inv]. 

1) Should I be getting a new computer? 

2) The current problem I have with my computer 
is Internet Explorer is opening blank tabs. I 
realized that I'm a few versions behind--I 
currently have IE 9 (I don't use it very 
often), and IE 11 is current version. Figured I 
should upgrade before tackling the blank tabs 
issue. 

The v. 11 installation errors out, not able to 
finish the installation and linking to 
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2872074

Went to uninstall v. 9--I tried using the 
Windows 7 Programs & Features uninstall 
utility, but IE is *not listed * in the list of 
programs. 
I also tried using the Revo Uninstaller 
program--I don't see IE listed there either. 

I glanced over the "support" page Microsoft 
supplied and lost patience with all the 
prerequisites they list.  YEE-icks.  

Help, please?
