Updated Firefox successfully.  Talked to her about
Java 8 being incompatible with Banner, but did
update her Java 7 to the latest Mac version on the
T: drive.  Turned off update reminders from the
Java console.

My Mac computer will not allow me to update
Firefox. I need to be able to run a secure version
of this program in order to access the AALC
advising@wou.edu emails. I have administrator
rights on my computer but it has not allowed me to
update Firefox since I got my computer last year.
I have not needed to use Firefox until recently
and so it has not been of concern. I now need to
have a current version of the program. 

In addition, can you let me know which version of
Java I should have on my computer? Java keeps
trying to update and I am not sure whether I
should do so or not as I know that some of the
versions are not compatible with Banner.

Availability:
I should be around the office today except at
lunch time, 12:30 to 1:30 and when I teach at 3:00
to 3:50. Tomorrow I am open except at the same
lunch time and for a meeting from 9:00 to 10:00.
