I restored the ipad to factory and updated the ipad to be ready to 
be checked out. then returned the ipad to Janeanne.

I was unable to open the ipad after updating it in recovery mode 
after talking with Janeanne I decided restore the device using 
recovery mode. after I did that I restored it using the back up on 
the UCS icloud account I also will be using this ipad to create a 
new updated back up for future times.

This ipad is made for students to check out. when 
the student turned it on the screen stayed black 
with the apple logo showing but never loaded.
