When jobs were going through Tray 1, dark spots
would show up on the pages.  Swapped new drum and
toner cartridges, with no improvement.  Ended up
running multiple blank pages through, which
appeared to clear up the smudges for the most
part.  The Supplies Usage Page showed that the
drum and cartridge were both recently installed,
and that the maintenance pieces such as the
transfer roller and fuser were around 50 percent.
 When I talked to Kathy, I showed her that Tray 2
could be used for letterhead if need be and how to
load the paper, in case this occurs again.  

Closed the locked door behind me.  The spare parts
are back in their boxes by Megan's desk.

The West House printer (WOU # 20120404) is
smearing when we use the bypass tray, at least
with letterhead.  I have a sample if you need to
see it.  I have a training until 2:30, and will be
back in the office afterwards until 5:00 pm.
