Regarding the problem with your Dell Latitude
laptop brought to our office last week.  I did
series of troubleshooting and diagnostic test on
the machine in realize the hard drive is faulty.
But at the moment our department cannot purchase a
new hard drive for the laptop because it is out to
warranty. I would recommend that your department
contact Tricia Flaherty at UCS to put in an order
for a new hard disk or to look into other options.

Regarding this request I did several
troubleshooting on the laptop and figuring out
system files could have been corrupted on the
system. I ask Leslie if she had any files save
locally on the laptop and she said she have some
files save on her desktop and hard drives.I remove
the hard drive from the laptop and slave it to
another machine and was able to retrieved her
data. I will re-image the machine on Monday.

She took it off the dock yesterday and ever since 
then it hasn't been able to load her profile.  She 
sometimes will get the log on page but it never 
loads anything. Most the time it just stays blank.  
She has tried restarting and still gets the blank 
page. There is no response from the computer.
