Left VM letting him know it is running again - I'm 
leaving the macbook and charger at the front desk.

I kept fussing with it and restarting, it has 
booted to the login screen (I'm not entirely sure 
what finally worked).  It looks like his project 
is still open in the background.

When powering on normally, the screen has 
staggered horizontal lines along with the 
status bar, which will then fail and return to 
a gray screen with no logo.

When starting in safe mode, the status bar gets 
stuck midway and nothing happens.

Reset PRAM - no change

Mac gives a status bar when started and then
bounces back to grey screen.  There is no log or
profile loaded, just the grey screen whenever he
tries to start it up.

Computer is up at SRD.  He wants to make sure the
drive is saved because he is in the middle of a
project.
