I was able to get hold of Amy this afternoon and
saw the error message she was encountering on her
machine. I look up the error message which said"
Windows detected a hard disk problem". There was
some instruction online that I follow using the
gpedit.msc. That resolve the problem. The machine
works just fine.

Dear UCS,

Recently Dayl, your technician helped me a 
great deal with backing up my data.  We thought 
this might solve the problem but I am still 
regularly getting server errors.  Am working at 
home today because of the heat issues in Todd 
Hall, but will be in in the morning and was 
wondering if someone could look at the laptop 
once again to check this issue.

issues on her computer. She wants some assistance
with moving her local files to a network drive.
