The power unit was faulty and I swapped it with an 
old computer we kept here as spare parts.

I just retrieved two PC computer from the NS lab 
with wou#: 20091517[Edit Inv] and 20120152[Edit Inv]
both machines are having the same problem(i.e not 
booting-up).

PC 20091517: Doesn't turn on, just a yellow 
flashing light.

PC 20091514: Issues connecting to scanner, 
disabled sound (unable to turn back on). Cannot 
access student drives, was resolved 
temporarily,by using power cycle but problem 
persisted when logging out and in again.
