I installed the keyboard on my computer and had
no issue. I took it over to her office and it
was getting the same errors. It did already have
the latest drivers installed. I moved the
keyboard USB plugs around so it was not being
placed in a USB 3.0 port and then everything
started working.

John,
The keyboard that Zach brought back that both him
and Lexi were unsuccessful with getting to work,
works on my station(MAC) where I use one of these
myself(unplugged mine and plugged this in) I see
no reason why a MICROSOFT keyboard would work on a
MAC but not a PC I am not sure what they are using
for "drivers" but it needs to have the Microsoft
Intellitype software to run all the extra
functions properly. I get Zoom print email volume
etc. to work at my station...I truely think this
is not a hardware issue here, Here is link to
software page:
https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/natural-ergonomic-keyboard-4000

They have separate 32 bit and 64 bit installers
for Win 7; also some of the advanced functions are
setup or enabled through the Intellitype software
so show end user where to go to configure

Tricia wants us to confirm it is not a driver
issue before she replaces the keyboard.
