Supplies page said printer cartridge was dead, so 
she switched it for a new one and it worked fine 
afterwards.

Printer Mallard, 20071020, has quacked up. Almost
no image and a 1¿ wide gray streak down the left
side. Before that it was printing out one or two
lines of gobbledeguke per page, for 500 pages!

 

I would put in a print cartridge but I think it is
more than that. My job before the 500 page fiasco
was successful but light. There have been no
indicator messages saying what the problem may be.
Mallard is our fast, high volume printer and is
used daily.

 

Printer Mallard resides in Rm 203 of the Cottage
(yes, a pond mate of Donald who had problems
earlier this morning).
