Dana just called in to let us know that she will
be in the office for only a brief period of time
tomorrow in order to receive the laptop. She says
that she lives 20 minutes on campus, and would
like to be contacted to setup a time to meet
on-campus in order to receive the laptop at (608)
213-7089.

be delivered. She asked for someone to drop it by

Hi Dale,

I had the opportunity to meet with Dana last week,
and she will be in next week to set her computer
up.  I remember you saying that most of UCS would
be in training, so should I email someone when I
know the exact date she will be on campus?

Completed setting up the MacBook pro, bind to the
domain, installed antivirus, office 2011,installed
Firefox, Chrome, Flash, Java, etc. Return the
laptop on the shelve across the restroom in ITC 009

I have made a Service Request #57773 for the Techs
to setup and deliver a Macbook Pro 13 laptop for
Dana Schowalter, T/TT Communication Studies
(HSS118) on arrival date of August 25th.

It currently has you as the contact because Dana
does not have an account setup yet as far as I can
tell.  We won't be able to actually finish setup
and delivery of the laptop until she has finished
all HR paperwork and has an account for network
and email created.  Laptops have a unique setup
from desktops and the tech will actually need to
meet with the end user to properly setup the
laptop for use on campus or off.  When we get
closer to the 25th, a tech may contact you to make
arrangements to meet up with Dana. 

If you have additional information to pass on to
the techs, you can call the Service Request desk
at 8-8925 and they can put that information into
the Service Request #57773.

NEW EQUIP SETUP: (GFA) A MacBook Pro needs to be setup and delivered 
to Dana Schowalter in HSS 118. The WOU # of the new laptop is 
20140658[Edit Inv]. Dana Schowalter will be arriving on August 25th, please hold 
delivery until she arrives. She does not have contact information in Portal 
yet, so communicate with Mylisa Behling about setup information and 
how best to contact Dana. The new equipment is on the shelves across 
from the restroom in ITC 009.
