Exporting the document as print-pdf and then 
printing them from reader fixed the problem.

When she tries to print an Adobe doc to multiple
printers she has available, an error comes back
and says "the adobe print engine has failed due to
an unknown problem".  She has tried it to Ed
copier and her personal printer.

She is in till 5 today.
