this is an ongoing issue. Nothing will happen this
year with this. We will look at replacing the
cables in the room. Bill is difficult to work
with. I've met with Hamid and him and I are on the
same page.

The issue is with the video card.  The holes 
where the pins fit in are broken over causing 
them to not make connection in turn makes the 
color off on the monitor similar to a loose cable.

The loaner monitor and a different VGA cable
produced the same problem, so I tried swapping a
different VGA splitter.  The monitor was still
discolored (from slot one on the splitter), and
the station that I had taken the test splitter
from was also now discolored (also on slot one of
the splitter).
Another station was also having a similar issue,
although a different color of discoloration.
