I have a loaner machine setup, we were able to
swap hard drives so he didn't lose any info.

this is not due to be replaced in GFA til July
2016, the warranty does not cover accidental
damage from spills, drops etc. The department
would be responsible for replacing in the event of
accidental damage.  We can provide him with a
"loaner" apple used laptop to use until July 2016
when his laptop would become eligible for
replacement under the GFA cycle.  If you don't
have a spare MAC laptop to give him as a extended
loaner then Bill said he may have a few
available... but I saw quite a few in the back shelf

He spelt some water on the keyboard and 5 minutes
later the laptop turned off and will not turn back on.
