Megan checked and it wasn't in AD - that should
solve the update issue.

Everything looked okay - logged in to an
existing account under thirty seconds, and
logged into an account for the first time in
2.5 minutes.

Only weird thing was that I couldn't check for
updates -- kept encountering an "unknown error"
even after restart. All seems functional
though.

Worked pretty quickly for me to log on with my own
account. Running some tests now

****This is an email****
The instructor console in HSS 107 has an extremely
slow login and when I asked the faculty member who
was about to use the room if they noticed this as
well, they reported that "the computer normally
takes 5-10 minutes to log on." I would think this
would be some sort of networking or processing
issue involving the computer taking a long time to
pull an account from the server, but more testing
would need to be done to confirm this.
