Jen & Dan,

I got the printer to finally print, but its now a
B&W printer.. The printouts with color don't look
good at all. I don't think it will function
properly without a new print head and I'm not sure
if that will be the resolution.

We have not received a warranty check yet. Once we
have I will let you both know so we can proceed
with finding a new printer for your department.

Printer is NOT missing pieces, they were found
once Megan and Jessie did more research. Tricia
found that this machine has a 5 year warrant..
Started that process today to get someone out here
to fix the issues. The cyan and matte black will
not work in the printer, not sure if BK and I
fixed the print head.

There is a missing piece to the printer. I have brought the printer 
down to ITC009 last week. Bill and I have worked on it. The print 
head was reinstalled and should be nice now. But there are 
missing pieces to the machine. If one was standing in front of the 
machine and to the right side in the back where the print head 
would rest when not printing is missing two crucial parts. I've also 
discovered that it seems like two of the color cartridge slots have 
been damaged. Both Cyan (which is why the ticket was open, cyan 
wasn't printing well) and Matte Black do not click into the slot like 
they should. I have email both Daniel and Jen, I've heard back 
from Jen who says she doesn't know where the parts are. She was 
aware of the ink cartridge slot issues and said that she uses a 
metal ruler to keep the ink in place while printing and would come 
and show us how... Still have not heard from Daniel about the part. 
When I went to get the printer last week the room was unlocked 
which seems odd. It is always locked and I don't have a key. 
Without the missing parts we can't move forward on this task. Will 
try and contact Daniel and Jen again.

Did two rounds of windex cleaning. Jen is going to
do some more testing. I will email her to check up
shortly.

Hi -
I spoke with someone this morning about my clogged
nozzle issues with the Epson 9890 in the back room
of ITC 210. After too many attempts at cleaning I
called Epson tech support ¿ unfortunately there is
no other option than to get a technician out to
clean or likely replace the clogged ink nozzles.
It is no longer under warranty.

There is little chance we can get this done by
Thursday noon when I needed to use the printer for
class, but we should try to get it serviced by the
start of the Winter term so that we might have it
to use again. Please let me know how I can help
facilitate this.

Large format epson nozzle clogged.  She has gone
through auto clean cycle several times.

She wants to try to trouble shoot with epson as
well, but cannot find the serial number on the
machine to do so.
