Check with Scott after doing some troubleshooting
on the monitor. I change the setting on the
monitor and it work fine in the office. Upon
returning to the recording room it continue to
make the same weird noise. I give him a use
monitor to use with WOU# 20091519[Edit Inv]. He said he
would like to keep the use monitor because it
works just fine. I spoke with Tricia and she
updated the record in inventory. Tricia said she
will use it for GFA.

I was able to get hold of Scott yesterday and
check the issue with his monitor giving feedback.
At the moment I give him a loaner monitor. I
brought the monitor to our office to do some
troubleshooting.

The Monitor is under warranty. Set him up with a
loaner and bring back the other monitor for us to
test before contacting dell.

Kyle (or whoever else can help).

Just want to follow up on the monitor issue. It
really is somewhat urgent. We had someone in there
today that was quite startled when the monitor
came on with that horrible noise, and he had no
idea what to do. It's almost as loud as a fire alarm.

Can we get a replacement monitor, or at least test
another monitor to see if swapping it out fixes
the problem?

Thanks,
Scott

Please do some investigation - we don't have
replacements for monitors this new unless he
wants the older model (with a soundbar).
If it's a problem with the monitor (vs.
settings), it is still under warranty.

The PC in HL 222 (WOU#20140931) has horrible
feedback until the microphone is switched off.
I've rebooted, tried multiple users, and it's
always the same. Can we get a replacement monitor?
Failing that, we need the monitor microphone
turned off as a default.

It's not every time, but it probably happens at
least 50% of the time it's turned on.
