I was able to get hold of professor Michael. The
reason he couldn't access chrome is his secondary
screen was off and chrome was opening on the
secondary screen. It works just fine.

It turned out to be a problem with me not the
computer. The short version of the story is Chrome
was actually trying to open on my off right side
monitor (which was off) and I thought the monitor
would automatically come on when a 'signal' went
its way. My bad, but thanks for sending someone
over to check on it.

I still can't get onto Google Chrome on my
computer in WH210 (click on it and nothing
happens) but I am able to bring it up other
locations on campus so it is something with my
particular computer at WH210. I couldn't see any
way to do updates since I can't access Chrome at
all (on my computer) .  Not 'an end of the world'
type problem but it would be nice to be able to
use Chrome in my office. I don't know if any one
would have time to look at this or not.

I tried restarting it, no effect. I am busy with
grading but should have time to look for Chrome
'updates' by Thursday. I click on the icon by
nothing happens. I can get by with IE, I just
don't like it as well as Chrome. I am guessing it
either had something to do with being
'disconnected' in UPCCC130 this morning while I
was on Chrome checking e-mails or the school
'updates' to the computer that happened when I
logged in at my office WH210 at little bit later
in the morning, assuming cause and effect.

For some reason I can't access Google Chrome (my
favorite search engine) using my account on
campus. I can bring up Internet Explorer, just not
Google Chrome. I was able to access Chrome from a
lab at UCPPC130 this morning (although I did get
'disconnected' once) but I couldn't access it from
my computer at West House later about noon (all
this is 3/15). My computer at West House did some
'updates' when I logged on about noon, I don't
know if that has anything to do with it or not.
Any ideas of what to do? I can live with IE, I
just like Chrome better.
