The HP is too old for UCS to work on. They have
CA's new plotter as a temp for now.

I ran into Alan on Friday after I sent the email
to Darin. He said that Darin has allowed Alan to
proceed with ordering a new plotter. I let Alan
know that getting a new machine would be the best
idea. Shandelle and I did research on the errors
and we might we able to fix it we might not. Due
to the age I need to talk to BK to see how we
should proceed.

Darin,

Shandelle and I have gone over and checked out the
issues with Torpedo. We spoke with Alan about how
we'd research the error codes we saw. The plotter
is W20080356- 8 years old and lacking general
maintenance from time to time. As Shandelle and I
researched we read in the manual steps on
maintaining and replacing the print head, which I
don't believe has happened. UCS worked on this
machine last fall and replaced the belt and did
some general cleaning.

After researching the two errors it would be a
huge undertaking to try and change out the two
senors plus we don't know it that would fix the
grey printing issue. I highly recommend that the
Print Shop looks into purchasing a new plotter
printer.

need any assistance with getting a new plotter.

THe prniter in the print shop which is actually 
in the Mail room (the big printer) is having 
some issue. Darin from Business office stopped 
by to let us know that, I called Alan to ask 
more information about the issue. Alan said 
it's not printing grey and have order some 
print heads. But he doesn't think that the 
issue as it's saying paper jam every time he 
reboots the computer even if there is no paper 
jam.
I am putting this on my queue for right now. 
Will transfer it to Megan or Shandell later.
