We fixed it!  It stopped.  We turned off the 
power for about 15 seconds and then turned back 
on.  For the next 15 minutes it made funny 
noises, warmed up, went through cleaning 
process, warmed up again, and then silence!  
The silence is wonderful!

The green light shows ready and, again, it is 
silent!  I don't know if you want to cancel the 
ticket...?  I'm happy, the humming stopped.

Hello:

RE:  WOU #20120893[Edit Inv]

Our Xerox color printer has been making the 
"warm up" noise for over a week.  Is there a 
button I can push to make the noise stop?

It is not loud, the noise is just "always 
there".  Is this normal?  This printer did not 
do this previously and none of the other 
printers have ever "hummed" non-stop.
