UCS doesn't maintain the maintenance side of ink
jet printers. We can assist with getting them
setup for printing but besides that we don't have
trained knowledge on them. Shandelle has a ticket
open SR60378 about the printers quality being low.
If your department wants to buy some cleaning
items we might be able to help if you have any
questions but without proper training I don't
think it's a good idea for us to try and fix
inkjet printers, we might just make it worse...
With the age of the machines and the usage, you
might need to budget for a new printers.
Maintenance should be kept up from the beginning,
if you got new printers, I would suggest some type
of monthly/termly cleaning cycle.

Dan came in saying that ITC 104 Epson 2880 
printer quality is really low. He has done the 
routine cleaning for the printer, and the 
problem only goes away for a day. He did not 
have the WOU# on the printer.
