I gave her the Loaner and got back her machine.
And as I said there was no issue with the fan.
Diagnostic test was also going fine. I gave the
laptop to John to order the fan. He also did some
test. As we don't have any failure and dell will
ask for the failure code. He did some research and
ran some chipset driver that has hopefully fixed
the laptop. We went and gave her the laptop back
and also got the loaner back.

This is happening again. My computer was taken to
UCS and taken apart, but they were unable to pin
point the problem and told me to report it if it
happened again. It started this morning and is
still running now.

Zack did some testing with it.

It's working absolutely fine.

We returned her laptop back and got back the loaner.

Hi Ranjit,

I've been very busy and the computer hasn't been
acting up recently so I wasn't thinking about it,
but the problem will probably come back so we
should get it fixed.  Can we make the switch
sometime tomorrow?  I'll be out the rest of the

the fan is making loud noise but sometimes it
doesn't. we probably need to order a fan for the
laptop.
took a loaner for her, gave her admin rights,
iinstalled degree works. but pl sql is giving
issue, shandelle is looking at it right now.

Hello,

My computer (#20140482) has a fan that is running
constantly.  This has happened in the past once or
twice and I would restart the computer to resolve
the issue.  I've restarted 3 times today and still
the fan is running.  The computer feels warmer
than usual which would explain the fan, but I
don't know why it is over heating.
