Went down and troubleshooted. Could not get it out
of jam error mode. Zero paper jammed any were.
Looked it up online and its a some what common
issue with no resolution to it. The printer old
enough to be out of its life time. They will be
purchasing her a new printer.

Gave her a loaner printer to use for now. Will
update with loaner WOU# soon.

Sharon called saying that her printer is still not
working. It says there is a paper jam and there is
not. She would like for someone to come by and fix
this issue as soon as possible.

I think we should have them purchase it through HP
so that if it comes out of date they can return it
and get there money back. Knowing that it came
from the company helps in getting money back and
troubleshooting

They do still make this Ink. You can get it
straight from HP or Staples. I left her a
voicemail for her to call me so we can talk about
this.

I googled and found this ink on Staples, can you
help them order this ink, otherwise they have to
buy a new printer.

****This is an email****

So, here is what is up. Apparently HP is no
longer making ink cartridges for the HP Officejet
Pro 8000. Last year, we ordered ink cartridges
for me and the cartridges were expired and the
printer wouldn't print. So, we ordered new
cartridges and they had not expired and they
worked just fine all year. At the end of spring
term, I was running low and we ordered "new"
cartridges for the printer. The expiration date
on the four cartridges range from 2011 to 2014.
When I put one of these cartridges in the printer
it rejected it again and refuses to print (except
in rare cases when it feels like and usually when
I have left the que up and have left the office).
I asked Jeanie to purchase NEW cartridges for the
printer and she was told that HP no longer makes
ink cartridges for this printer. We don't want to
throw good money away buying expired cartridges in
order to get the printer to work. Do you have any
ideas?

Sharon

HP is no longer making ink cartridges for my printer HP
Officejet Pro 8000 and the last batch of ink that was purchased
is old and no longer under warranty. The printer is refusing
to work with this old cartridges and there doesn't seem to be a
bypass button that would allow the printer to go ahead and
print. At least I can't get it to. Could you please send
someone over to assist me with this?

Thanks
