Issue is profile specific. I changed the EDID
settings on the DVI matrix to force the iMac to
the correct settings for the projector. Seems to
be working now.

Hello -
When I returned to the lab this morning to give a
lecture I found that the 'flashing' of the projected
image is still occurring.

Thanks,

Adobe Pro was installed on all the machines. Its a
but different then the old version so I had to
show her how to use it. Projector is fixed. Epson
is having a issue with the new Mac 10.11. For now
they will have to open Epson before scanning. I
will keep watching Epson to see if they resolve this.

Hello -

As we start a new year in the ITC 210 lab I have encountered some issues:
(maybe for Nathan) the projected image [from the instructor's station] flashes frequently during slides, a mix-matched
resolution problem I'm guessing but I'm not sure what the right settings are or whether I have the permissions to make
them permanent
all 3 Epson scanners are difficult to use in that the 'capture' button does not open any working scanner software;
instead I have to manually open it every time (the scanner numbers are 20110541[Edit Inv], 20110542[Edit Inv], 20110543[Edit Inv] on Macs 20150035[Edit Inv],
20150039[Edit Inv], 20150045).
We used to have 'Acrobat Pro' which I guess has been replaced by Acrobat DC, but the latter has fewer operations. For
example, in Pro one can edit objects and text in PDF files, among other things. Now if you need those operations it
directs you to Adobe to pay/subscribe to the full version. Is there any way we can find the budget to add this? That was
a useful tool that is now gone. :(

These fixes would help the lab be a lot more efficient and conducive to good learning! :)

Thanks much,
Jen
