We were just following up with you regarding a
service request that we have for you.  (#61538)

Description: PC Computer in RWEC 120

Sorry for the delay on this. I just received word
from Paul Finke this morning, that it has been
approved to proceed with the work. Xtreme
Communications is the contractor that will be
installing this. I'll let you know when I have a
date/time when the work will be completed.

Talked to Jennifer a couple days ago and it 
doesn't seem like she has gotten anywhere with 
getting a new port installed; didn't seem like 
she talked to anyone.  The reason she couldn't 
get hooked up in the first place is because the 
ethernet cord for this student workstation 
would have to cross a doorway, which apparently 
is a safety hazard. 

There isn't much that desktop support can do 
from this point, is there any possibility of 
getting ports installed or moving this forward?

Sent an email telling her to contact Nathan to 
install ports next to the machine, afterwards 
she'll contact us for the hook up

The student station is not hooked up because it's 
in a very inconvenient location from a port.
