I told Beeb that they would have to get a new
scanner, the broken hinge maybe to reason why the
scanner is not functioning well, guess because is
not closing well.

He called and said it was still not working.  
There is a replacement scanner in its place but 
the broken one is still there and is not working. 
He would like to have someone look at it again.

The scanner are working fine, i just run an update
on the computers and was able to scan couple some
papers. W#20120534[Edit Inv] hinge is broken.

Two scanners are not connecting with the 
computers. They try unplugging it and plunging 
it back in and it just says cannot connect.
