All computers W20120856, W20110784, and W20130454 
have been finished and returned.  IDRISI Silva is 
now TeraSet, Silva can no longer be licensed. 
Computers were returned to Beeb.

Sent Steve and email to see if we can schedule 
this upgrade.

I sent an email today to see if he was ready to 
continue with the other two upgrades.

sent email today 1/12 to schedule a time for 
delivery.

Sent Bill K. and email.  He wanted to test the 
computers performance.

We have ordered 3qty 1TB SSD drives to be added to
these Dell Precision boxes I also ordered some 3.5
to 2.5 drive adapter in case they are needed, let
me know so I can charge for the adapters that are
actually used as they are currently stock items. 
The SSD drives are at my desk so please come see
me for them.  Steve had some more detailed
conversations with Bill as far as other
configuration changes to make to improve the
performance of these stations. Please also talk
with Bill to get more specifics on this.

Hi Tricia - I've chatted with Bill about upgrading
the three Dell Precision Towers I have, installing
solid state drives to improve performance,
mimicking what we accomplished in NS216 for GIS work

The machines in question are:

Room NS210  WOU20120856  T7600 Precision
Room NS216A WOU20110784 T7500 Precision
Room NS022 WOU20130454  T7610 Precision

The goal is to upgrade these machines with solid
state drives and related mounting bracket adapters
to improve performance to mimic the machine set up
we have in NS216 computer lab.  I discussed this
situation with Bill, and we'll also need to
reconfigure the machines and how the hard-drives
are organized as well, separating executable
software from data.
