Hi Scott and Tricia,

I have checked ythe power supply at multiple
locations: home, work, hotels, airplanes and
it's always the same. It never charges and
stays at 48 to 50%, when plugged in. When not
plugged in it dies very fast.

I won't be in today until later in the
afternoon but I can bring my laptop over to UCS
when I arrive. How do I open a ticket?

Thank you very much!

Word back from Tricia is that this laptop is still under
warranty.

First off, make sure the power supply being use at work
and at home for charging are both 90W.

If that is ok, then open a ticket with UCS Service Desk
(using WOU#) and they will be able to call Dell about
faults and solutions/repair etc. Emily Lafon will get a
loaner PC during this time period.

I can help you verify the powersupply(s) are correct, and
then we can decide how to proceed.

Scott

Hi Scott,

I've noticed that my laptop will never charge more than 50%, even
on the docking station at work. When it's off the docking station
and not plugged in it dies very quickly. I'm telling you this
because I'm wondering if we can fix it or if I'm due for a new
laptop? Thanks for your help!
