**note**If you ever see Office 2016 as you to
license the program on a freshly imaged MAC, this
could be why.

Office 2016 was installed then updated while
nobody is logged in

OR

Office 2016 was installed and then updated without
any Office applications being launched between the
initial installation and the update.

Solution:

The needed file is
/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.office.licensingV2.plist.
This file can be copied and pasted to this
location from a working licensed install computer.
You will need to use Command + I to see the Get
info screen and set the permissions to

System Read & Write

Wheel Read Only

Everyone Read only

Or Remove Office 2016 and all files from the HD
and reinstall.

Hello,

I'm wondering if I can upgrade to Office for Mac
2016? I currently have Office 2011. The advantage
of 2016 for me is that it has the Accessibility
Checker feature, which 2011 does not. I need to
make documents and such accessible for the blind
and deafblind.

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Use-the-Accessibility-Checker-on-your-Mac-to-find-and-resolve-accessibility-issues-3b84295e-d55b-49f1-b443-523ec45a5232

I'm with TRI / NCDB in room 202 in Todd Hall.

Thank you,
Mike
