Installed the Windows 7 pro ISO form the T drive 
that is working installing software now.

We tried pulling a snapshot of an old boot stick 
to no avail. We also tired a 2011 image same 
results as before.

Hi Alan,

Description: Desktop PC Not Finding Updates

So I've tried to re-image it several times every 
time it hangs at the startup screen on it's first 
boot. We have tested different GPU's and several 
hard drives. It is able to run Ubuntu from a DVD 
though. We aren't really sure what to do.

Reimaged it several times. I have tried new GPUs 
two hard drives no matter what it freezes at boot. 
I booted Ubuntu and it worked fine though.

Had issues getting it to image. It looks like it 
is finally imaging this time.

I would love to say yes, but we have to have 
RecTrac running on the system, where we can 
take registrations and payment so it pops the 
cash drawer. We can live without biometric 
access, so until I can figure out how to make 
the spare run in its spot. We may have to wait 
a little.

Hi Alan,

I need some additional information regarding 
service request #63654

Description: Desktop PC Not Finding Updates

We are going to re-image the machine but we see 
that RecTrac is listed as installed. Is possible 
to go without it for the day or two it will take 
to get the other machine going again?

  The West Desk PC in the HWC (W20100675) stalls
while looking for Windows updates, so none have
been applied since November.  When I tried to push
KB3020369, it said that was already applied. 
Protections must be made current, especially in
the wake of WannaCry.
  This is a frequently-used PC at HWC reception,
so any downtime must be coordinated with Rip Horsey.
