Jessica,

UCS does the upgrades to machines. Your current
laptop W20131107 is still under warranty, we don't
replace working machines that still have a
warranty left. I believe your machine would be up
for replacement next Spring term.

I emailed Mary and let her know. The department
head needs to emails the SRD to grant you the access.

Hi Megan,

Thanks for the info. Do you know when I'm due for
a computer upgrade or who makes that decision?

Also, Bradley said that I need my division chair
to add me to gain access to the i drive. What
steps does she need to take to do this?

Jessica,

Bradley has been working with you and your laptop
with the cracked plastic part near the left side
of the keyboard. Your machine is in warranty for
about 15 more days so I tried to get it replaced.
But they denied my request and said that is
physical damage. So the only way to get it fixed
now is have your department pay for it. The part
should be about $20-$30 please let me know if you
would like to proceed. I can get the order started
as soon as I get an index code.
